"My wife and I joined Tippy in 1999 after we had moved back to the Midwest from Florida. Little did we know at the time what a jewel TLCC is in the Lakeland area of Indiana. Retiring shortly after beginning my membership, I set out to find my natural golf buddies (some call them Dewsweepers) and to work hard to improve my golf game. It didn’t take long for me to find three or more groups who wanted to play each week and have fun winning or losing $2 bets.

To our delight, many of these same golf buddies became the heart of our social activities and to this day we enjoy weekly gatherings to dine, drink and even occasionally dance at the Tippecanoe Lake Country Club. The food and service is the best in the county and we love the people and the traditional clubhouse on Tippy Lake. If we had to do over, the only change we would make is to have joined earlier when we bought our first cottage and our kids were still at home. Today, when our children and grandchildren visit, they can't wait to get to the club for swimming, golf, wonderful food and of course, bingo on Thursdays. We really enjoy the people, the place and the pleasures afforded by TLCC."
